I like his voice ! As a french, I like the fact that he used his real voice to do the french voice on the french version. A glass of milk! Damn. This is basically British squared. Inglourious basterds bar shooting scene. I'm a fan of Tarantino but to be honest, I didn't enjoy his vision towards WWII that much. The reason? Well, the Nazi occupation in France seems too comic book oriented. There is plenty of action, kick ass dialogs, conspiracies that lead to disaster, gore, violence, and character development. Sure, the production values are solid but I expected more from the ending.
But I COMPLETELY understand it's Tarantino's style and he won't change it. I get his artistic point of view and I enjoy his script but I wasn't convinced in terms of reality. Still, Inglorious Basterds" is a movie you have to see to understand how a quality action oriented movie has to be. The Direction is superb and I always like Tarantino's narrative. Always gives plenty of chances for the characters to expand their points of view and learn more about their back story.
I mean, the Nazi surrender was way too easy. I expected a more intelligent move from Landa.
Hans Landa is by far the most interesting character. I enjoyed every single moment he was on-screen. Aldo Raine added the "cool" and suave hero that knows perfectly how to battle the Nazis. While Stiglitz was my favorite! I wanted to see more from him. Sossana and Bridget were too hot for the screen and their characters were relevant for the revenge.
The scenes I will always remember: Landa's introduction, Sossana's revenge speech, the shooting in the German bar, Jew Bear beating the crap out of a Nazi soldier, the Swastika "tattoo" the theater massacre, etc.

This scene is so perfectly dramatic its not even funny

First the Nazi officer behaves nobly, then he shouts a racial slur. Donny is serious and emotional when he accuses the officer of 'killing Jews' but acts like a psychopath a few seconds later. There is a build up of emotional music which abruptly stops when Donny lands the first blow. The camera suddenly cuts from close-ups to a very wide shot. All of this is deliberately disorienting. The film is genuinely exploring the idea of revenge and wants us to have mixed, even conflicting feelings about what it means in this context. Inglourious basterds utivich. But Why Did u make such lengthy movie with such no. of countable scenes (I emphasize, well written and directed) but so prolonged with Excellent Dialogue. But Sorry Buddy U just told the right story in a Wrong COLD way.
I couldn't absorb the movie. The Opening was Awesome. Cinematography and every other aspect was very fine. but I am sorry. the Story was even worse than No country For Old men (Which i gave a 7 or 8.
I will Give it 6 or 6.5 Max.

Inglourious basterds full movie. This is really adorable to watch actually, smiled through the whole thing. RIP Sally. And damn, I felt the difference watching Hateful 8, it felt weird while watching it; I mentioned it to my friend and then he told me Sally passed away. It's going to be hard to replace her.
